Holi Milan 2010

74^th HOLI MILAN SAMAROH As per already published programme on 16 Feb. ,2010 on this site and in news papers the 74th HOLI MILAN SAMAROH WAS celebrated in Maharani college Campus Jaipur by MATHUR SABHA ,JAIPUR.on 14th MARCH,2010 The programme started at 5pm.

On this occasion meeting of the general body of the Sabah was also held as per agenda already published.

Sh.Girdhar Prasad Mathur, Sh.Om Prakash Mathur and Sh.K.N.Mathur were elected as President, General Secretary and Finance Secretary of Mathur Sabha, Jaipur for the Years 2010 to 2013 unanimously as no other member filed nominations except them on scheduled date.

An exhibition of fine art and handicrafts was arranged showing the best works of participants which includes children of age below 15 years also. The creators of the best exhibits were later rewarded.

After the meeting of the general body the Samaroh started by garlanding the idols of Bhagwan Ganesha and Chitra Gupta ji and lighting the lamp by the President of the Sabha Sh. G.P.Mathur, General Secretary Sh. O.P.Mathur, and Sh. K.N.Mathur Financial Secretary.

A book written by Sh. R. B. Lal Mathur on health consciousness was released by the President Sh. G.P.Mathur and General Secretary Sh. O.P.Mathur in presence of the auther who also spoke on the usefulness of the book.

Sh. U.B.Mathur threw light on a book on climate change written by him.

Seven elderly members of the age of more than 80 years viz. Sh. Govind Mohan ji Mathur, Sh.Raghuvar Sharan Mathur, Sh. Brij Mohan Lal Mathur, Sh. Vitthal Nath ji Mathur, Smt. Kamla Devi Mathur, Smt.Premlata Mathur, and Smt. Koshalya Mathur were felicitated . Some of the prominent figures of the Sabha honoured them at stage by garlanding them and presenting Shawls and a momento of the Sabha.

Smt Dr.Indu Mathur and Sh.Mohit Mathur( In his absence his mother received the momentum) were also honoured by the Sabha for getting a life time achievement award and arranging highest contribution to the Sabha respectively. They were presented with momentum of the Sabha.

After the award distribution the cultural activities like songs and dances etc. started with Ganesh vandana presented by Gitika. A dance on” churi khanke re” was performed by Miss Urvi.and this was followed by a Gazal sung by Sh. Avdesh Mathur member executive committee. To continue the programme another dance performance by two girls this time viz. Ishita and Suhani was presented beautifully . The song Played during this dance was “Sumi dhum pump pa “. This was applauded largely. The famous song Piya to se naina lagi re was sung by Stuti d/o Sh.Sanjiv Mathur. Holi dance on the song “rang mat dale re sanvaria” was also appreciated and was a very good performance presented by Miss Ambica and Mr. Anmol. Three Holi songs were sung as a last item by ladies Smt. Neelam, Jyoti, Renu,Mala and Alka. All the above participants including Smt. Vidhi received the gifts from Dr. Suresh Singh Ji for their performances.

An announcement by Sh. Navin Dutta Mathur was made for rewarding any student who get admission in I.I.T. or a Medical College through C.P.M.T. with Rs. 5000/ in the year 2010.

Dr. Ashok Mathur Vice President of the Sabha presented vote of thanks .
